Pretty Girls Make Graves follow up the release of their latest album ‘Elan Vital’ (Matador) with a stint 
as X-Posure’s new Artists In Residence, and thus provide us with four exclusive session tracks to be 
heard across the week.  Meanwhile Jawbone will be a very special live bank holiday studio guest, and 
a brand new X-Posure Big One will be revealed for the week ahead.

Ahead of the release of his brand new album, Adem will be a very special studio guest on tonight’s 
show.  Former Hefner/The French songwriter Darren Hayman will also be in for a One Night Stand 
to celebrate the release of his debut solo album, ‘Table For One’, and there’ll be more from this week’s 
Artists In Residence Pretty Girls Make Graves, alongside a second chance to hear this week’s 
X-Posure Big One.

Another packed show includes a One Night Stand from Scottish collective Union Of Knives, to 
celebrate this week’s release of their second single, ‘I Decline’.  Meanwhile, Tim and Toby of 
Transgressive Records will be live in the studio to talk about a forthcoming label retrospective 
compilation, which includes music from the likes of The Rakes, Burning Pilot, Bloc Party and 
Polytechnic.  There’ll also be a third exclusive session track from Artists in Residence Pretty Girls 
Make Graves, the X-Posure Big One will be spun once again, and finally, Leeds Dance To The Radio 
duo Yes Boss provide us with an exclusive showcase mix.

The mammoth annual Camden Crawl takes place tonight in town, with hundreds of bands taking to 
various stages across North London’s favourite musical hotspot.  Xfm X-Posure once again lays on a 
hot feast of new talent at the Barfly, with The Spinto Band, Cazals, The Rogers Sisters and The 
Sunshine Underground set to appear live, both onstage at the Monarch and on the radio, on 104.9fm 
in London, and 97.7 in Manchester.

Just ahead of the release of their new album ‘Yes, Virginia’ (Roadrunner), The Dresden Dolls will be new 
Artists in Residence, which means four exclusive new session tracks can be heard each night this week 
on the show.  Meanwhile a brand new X-Posure Big One will be revealed, alongside more fresh future 
music for London, Manchester and beyond.

The Zutons will be in the studio to talk us through the making of their second long player, as their 
forthcoming brand new album ‘Tired Of Hanging Around’ (Deltasonic) is given the X-Posure album 
playback treatment.  There’ll also be more from this week’s Artists In Residence The Dresden Dolls, 
plus another chance to hear the X-Posure Big One.

Just as their self-titled debut album (V2/Regal Bear) hits the shops, London’s Semifinalists will be in for a 
One Night Stand on tonight’s show.  We also welcome Sheffield favourites Monkey Swallows The 
Universe live into the studio, and present you with another chance to hear Pure Reason Revolution’s 
blistering X-Posure Live set from earlier this year.  Artists In Residence The Holloways return with another 
exclusive session track, and the X-Posure Big One gets a third play.

fingers crossed, some live tracks.  Plus, following their surprise live visit to the studio a week ago where 
they exclusively unveiled brand new material, Artists In Residence TV on the Radio have provided four 
session tracks to be aired over the next four nights.  A brand new X-Posure Big One will also be revealed 
for the week ahead.

continue their Residency with a final session recording, and the X-Posure Big One can be heard for a 
third time.

John Kennedy remains live in Manchester for the final show of the week, with local band Keith in for a 
One Night Stand.  Meanwhile New Yorkers TV on the Radio provide the last session track of this week’s
